Recipe serves 10 (approx. 6 pieces each)
Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 lb snow peas
- 1/8 cup soy sauce
- 4 slices (approx. 1/4" thick) ginger
- 1 clove garlic, quartered
- red cabbage
- toothpicks
Directions
- Mix orange juice, ginger, garlic, and soy sauce.
- Add boiled, peeled, deveined shrimp (60 per pound).
- Let shrimp marinate for at least 3 hours.
- Steam snow peas until just barely tender.
- Open pods and remove peas.
- Wrap a half of a pod around a shrimp
- Secure pod with a toothpick.
Cut the cabbage in half and place cut side down on a plate. - Anchor each toothpick into the cabbage.
- Garnish with shredded cabbage.
